Written by 16yearold British programmer David Simons in 1983, it was distributed by Commodore in cartridge format. Simons' BASIC added 114 additional keywords to BASIC 2.0. These included commands to ease the coding of WebbBASIC 7.0 was included with the Commodore 128, and included structured programming commands from the Plus/4's BASIC 3.5, as well as keywords designed specifically to take advantage of the machine's new capabilities.
