WebI've had this same problem come up also just today... local files appear to be gone (except free space hasn't been freed up). I've uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled. I'm guessing Microsoft didn't fully play ball with "delete the application from the applications menu and it's gone" so there's probably more to deleting and reinstalling.
