WebSep 4, 2002 · To adjust your BOV you will loosten the jam nut on the top that is around the allen screw, and turn the allen screw in the direction that says soft if you have the sticker on the top (counter clockwise.) Give it about 1/4 turn then tighten the jam nut making sure that the allen screw doesn't move from where you set it and take it for a drive.
