We (NZ Army) generally roll with the n.o.1 carrying the gun and the barrel bag (3x barrels, aim post and C2 sight) and a tin of 7.62 and GPMG/MAG and the n.o.2 carrying the tripod and couple of tins. I've never seen the tripod carry all used anywhere else but for non tac storage or movement of the tripod.
