However, what happens if I replace the Dextrin with Phenolic Resin and bind it using Alcohol? My guess is that the prime will burn faster, but other than that it doenst matter. Correct me if I am wrong. WebIt actually has more things in common with black powder from a usage standpoint than do Pyrodex or Triple Seven pellets. It can easily be volumetrically measured with great accuracy. ( Not using a black powder measure, but using a Lee 3.4 cc smokeless powder measure.) It also is a powder, not a solid fuel.
